Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah ... And I beheld, and lo, ... a Lamb as it had been slain... Inspired by Revelation 5, this multidimensional piece explores the profound vision of John, who is told to look for the Lion of the Tribe of Judah—yet, when he looks, what he sees is the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. Lion and Lamb alternate seamlessly within one artwork, dependent on the viewer’s position—medium and message are united to reflect the profound truth: The Lion is the Lamb. This work embodies the divine, harmonious dichotomy of Christ as both distinct Righteous Judge and Meek Lamb unified, inviting reflection on His power and strength, sacrifice and peace, and eternal purpose in it all.
